Power Raking

Power raking removes the thatch buildup on your lawn and helps improve air and water penetration to the soil, promoting healthier grass growth.

  • What it removes:

Primarily targets thick layers of thatch, which can hinder grass growth by preventing nutrients and water from reaching the roots.

  • How it works:

A power rake has rotating blades or tines that dig into the lawn, pulling up and removing the thatch layer.

  • When to power rake

Take a core sample of soil and measure the thatch layer on top. If it's more than 1/2 inch, you should power rake. â€‹
